Ambient Monitoring Program

Annual Public Comment Solicitation
The USEPA requires state and local air pollution agencies to make the annual Monitoring Network Design plans available to the general public for a 30 day public comment period. Agencies are required to submit their annual plans to EPA by June 30. The next public comment period is projected to be in May of 2008.

Current Monitoring Data Across the State
View data from all active real-time pollutant monitors in the state network.

Current Pollen Report
Ambient Monitoring collects pollen data in Raleigh on business days, by a manual method. Interested parties can join an email distribution list for the daily pollen report.
